Save links from Google Reader in your Zoo
Quite a few of you asked me if there’s a way to save links from Google Reader in your Zoo – there is! All you need to do is to follow a few simple steps:
Login to Google Reader and go to “Settings” > “Reader settings”
Choose the “Send To” tab. This is where you can setup all the services you want to be able to send links to.
Choose “Create a custom link” at the bottom of the page
Enter the following settings…
Name:
Zootool
URL:
http://zootool.com/post/?url=${url}&title=${title}&description=${source}
Icon URL:
http://zootool.com/apple-touch-icon.png
That’s it! Now save the settings and go back to your reader.
Click on the “Send to” button at the bottom of each feed item, if you want to save a link in your Zoo.
A far better way to browse and read your Google Reader feeds is Reeder for iPhone and iPad, which has built-in Zootool support. Make sure to check it out: http://reederapp.com/
The beta of Reeder for Mac is available here: http://madeatgloria.com/brewery

this is kind of nice!
