.. the new updated reset from E.Meyer but now, I definitely want to get deeply in this new one and try to understand how/why it's made off

Well, the pb with the * reset is that you have to re-specify lots of values (I think about the form for example).
For my part I was using..

I always feel like a very simple padding and margin reset is the best way for me to start without adding too much overhead from the start.

There's some interesting stuff in there, but will you use it?
